Beauty Tip #1: Daily Hair Brushing For Healthy Hair. Fiction or Fact?

To start with, have you ever been told that to possess healthy hair, you need to brush it at least 100 strokes every day? Probably because excessive brushing of the hair will induce the production of natural oils in the scalp leaving the hair healthy and looking shiny.

Recent studies have shown the process of excess hair brushing not only causes an oily scalp resulting in plugged hair pores to stop hair growth, plus the action of the brushing alone can loosen hair follicles and enhance the probabilities of hair breakage.

Final veredict: Fiction

The conclusion seems to be that this is one of those beauty tips, which can cause more harm than good.

Beauty Tip #2: Eat fresh vegetables

The more uncooked fresh vegetables you eat, the better for your body. That is one of the best beauty tips you can get out there. Your body needs a lot of nutrients and minerals, and you can only get this from fresh and raw vegetables. Your skin will thank you later.

Beauty Tip #3: Try to get plenty of rest.

Not only does sleep promote skin health, but it can also benefit your mind, body, and much more. The advantages of sleep for your skin include fewer rejuvenated color, less sagging, diminished acne blemishes, less inflammation, and fewer wrinkles.

Sure, there are those times when we have to go the extra mile, and stay up late, do it may show for a day or two in our overall beauty. Just don’t make a habit of it. Sleep is a naturally recurring state of mind and body, where the body regenerates. Tip: Add some drops of lavender essential oil to your pillowcase. It definitely promotes better sleep.

Beauty Tip #4: Wash your face twice a day

Washing and Cleansing the face is the basis of many beauty tips for perfect skin, and it should non-negotiable, no matter what. Washing your face in the morning and evening is not only refreshing, it helps get rid of bacteria and germs from the surface. I personally use a Facial cleansing brush for better results.

Rinsing your face with water is not enough and, more often than not, the minerals and impurities present in the water could damage your skin and cause break out. The proper facial wash will help to remove any traces of damage from your face and leave your skin looking renewed.

Note: Always try to find the best products for your skin type, whether that is normal combination, oily skin, dry skin, etc.

Beauty Tip #5: Drink lots of water!

That is right. Water has a lot of benefits for the skin and is a natural and safe tip for perfect skin. If you are not taking in enough water, you deny your skin of adequate hydration. When the skin’s surface appears dry, tight, and flaky, it is usually due to lack of water.

Remember, dry skin is prone to wrinkling and it has less resilience, the rate at which there is loss every day is high and it needs to be replaced. Water helps in transporting nutrients to the cells and it helps to remove toxins from our vital organs. Keeping your body hydrated also helps your skin; it reduces acne, pimples, marks, and even delays the aging process, to a certain extent.

Beauty Tip #6:  Too Much Sitting is bad for your body. Fact or Fiction?

This is a fact. Let’s site an example if you see someone with dark blue veins running like a spider web up and down their legs and feet? If so, then you have seen what are called varicose veins. One of the stated beauty tips states that these bark blue veins are caused by sitting too much.

Varicose veins occur when there is poor blood circulation, which happens when you are standing in a specific spot for a long time, or you are sitting on a spot for a long time. To avoid varicose veins, it is very important to be moving your body, stretching, and trying out some simple exercises so that there is proper blood circulation throughout your body, more especially in the legs and feet.

To avoid any situation where you are required to sit or stand for long periods, try to get up and walk around or, if standing for long, move from one spot to another to keep the blood flowing. Make sure to move around for a few minutes at least once every hour whenever possible.

I bought this item below and put it under my desk to exercise while sitting. It is wonderful!

And I really want to get this other below.

Beauty Tip #7: Try to reduce stress in your life

Nothing shows on your whole body like stress: The look in your eyes, the way you walk, the appearance of your skin, the way you talk, even the way you sit in your chair. Here’s a little beauty advice: your stress shows on your whole body, so do not let that stress become overwhelming. We know that everyone experiences stressful times, like we all are currently experiencing around the world, but it is important to find ways to cope with it.

It might be by taking a walk outside, by sitting in your backyard or somewhere else to enjoy some sunshine (Vitamin D is always needed for our body but you can also buy Vitamin D pills), do yoga or any workout you prefer, maybe meditate or just enjoy the silence. I personally also love to add lavender essential oil to my diffuser since it has a calming effect on the mind. We all have different ways of handling and overcoming stress. Finds what works for you and do it regularly!

Beauty Tip #8: Massage your face

Facial massages are a common practice that women follow as a part of their beauty routine because of the many advantages. It is a natural way to fix yourself up, reduce stress, and is to enhance your mood. It is a fantastic beauty tip for the face as it helps induce the production of blood in the skin and collagen. Regularly massaging your face helps to lift your facial muscles and tightens skin.

This amazing anti-aging process helps to give you a youthful glow. Additionally, face massages also serve to reduce inflamed skin conditions such as rosacea and acne. Light manipulation on the skin increases oxygen and blood flow, which is needed for healing, plus it helps to remove toxins that are often responsible for breakouts. You can either do it yourself or leave it to the professionals.

Beauty Tip #9 Massage your scalp

It is a known fact that massaging your scalp helps with conditioning it, which prevents dry and itchy scalp. In addition, a great beauty benefit is that massaging your scalp promotes new hair growth and strengthening your existing one.

I personally use a scalp massager like this one. I usually use it before I wash my hair with essential oils but, since I do not wash my hair every day, I try to use it either in the morning before I style my hair or at night time before I go to sleep. It has worked wonders not only on my hair, but I find it very relaxing as well

#10 Keep your teeth healthy and clean

If there’s one area where people sometimes lack in taking better care of, it is their teeth. It is not only about having a beautiful smile but, if you do not take care of your teeth and mouth, you can develop gum infections, unpleasant odor in your mouth, and much worse. Make sure to learn how to properly brush and floss. Some people love to use regular toothbrushes, but there are also so many electronic ones you can get.

A few things that help a lot with whitening, keep odor away, while providing a deeper cleaning is using a little baking soda mix with your toothpaste on your teeth, or before brushing your teeth using Plax and an after mouth rinse such as Listerine. I personally use an ultra water flosser such as Waterpik. They even have a travel-sized one, so that you can always practice great dental care; check it out here.

#11 Coconut oil is one of the most versatile beauty items

I am a big believer and lover of Virgin Coconut oil. It is good for so many different things, such as your hair, dry skin, teeth and even so much healthier for cooking. There is evidence that may boost fat burning, may reduce hunger, may increase energy, may boost heart health, and even reduce cholesterol, among many other things.

I use it in my curly hair when I am doing the scalp massages, and I put it on my face at night. There are so many benefits to it and so many ways you can use Pure Coconut oil that you should always keep some in stock.

In summary, if you want glowing, healthier, and wrinkle-free skin, stronger hair, and a more successful journey improving your health and body, then follow these productive beauty tips every day for outstanding results.
